Over time friends and family asked if I had any bantams to sell, so I bought myself an incubator and it has now turned into a bit more than a hobby!! We can supply you with day old chicks to POL. We mainly have pekins in a variety of colours with a mix of frizzle or smooth. From time to time we have silkies, seramas, Polish and sablepoots. Quail chicks are also available on request.
All our bantams are very well looked after and loved and have all been well handled by both adults and children making them a great addition to your family. Please contact us to see what we have available.'.

Toad Hall

(Surrey / Hampshire border)

Phone Numbers: 07976 531 152

email address:

I am a hobby breeder of Pekins and Serama.

I keep many of the popular colours and some of the rarer ones such as Porcelain and Chocolate.

Colours include Lavender, Millefleur, Buff, Gold and Silver Partridge and Birchen, Black Mottled, Blue Mottled and Chocolate Mottled, Porcelain, Khaki, Salmon, Wheaton and many individual colours created by mixing the above.

Serama are many colours and dont breed true for hue, so have no names as such. Both breeds of chicken come in Plain and Frizzled feather and the Serama also come in Silkied feather. Quail are Japanese and Italian who lay every day and are great pets for eggs in a small space.

I am right on the Surrey and Hampshire border and easily reached from the M3 .

    "What Chickens mean to me"

    by Forum Members..

What they mean to me....while having "chicken time" with my little Beatrice earlier I had a surge of what can only be described as real genuine love for her
She started out as bottomest of bottom hens and I actually thought I might loose her to bullying. It took a lot of TLC and nurturing to get her to her current state of health and happiness. In return for my nurturing as soon as I sit down in the run these days, she jumps straight up onto my lap for a snooze, every day without fail, feathers all puffed up, eyes shut and so content looking.
I always knew they'd wrap themselves round my heart and I adore them all, but the bond I have with Beatrice is very special to us both. Pegpuss
