I'll be interested how your Aubergines come out...I grew some this year and they had all the taste of an aubergine with black skin (because of the variety I used that we have here called black beauty)...they were the shape of a capsicum??! ...No idea why (if anyone has any ideas I'd love to know) .....

You could water masonry paint or if you can get PVA glue cheap that watered down will do it as well.
Have you got a spray gun? Because that would make things much easier...2-3 coats of paint watered down enough to go through the gun...otherwise they're a pain to paint.

I'm like you Trev I have a pretty eclectic taste in music...I don't have a particular genre I listen to if I like a song I like a song.... but as an idea of what I like: The Foo Fighters (I think because they have some very different music as a group), Queens of the Stone Age for something a bit roc...
