Re: Painting/waterproofing Breeze blocks
Ask about school glue...I wonder if that will ring any bells with them because pretty much that's what gets used in schools.

Re: Painting/waterproofing Breeze blocks
You could water masonry paint or if you can get PVA glue cheap that watered down will do it as well.
Have you got a spray gun? Because that would make things much easier...2-3 coats of paint watered down enough to go through the gun...otherwise they're a pain to paint.

Re: How does your garden grow?
I've been very lucky so far....my next door neighbour built a huge tunnel house for his citrus trees (which are very young) and so has a lot of room )like( We've had some harsh frost even up to 4 weeks ago (officially in summer) and I though I'd lost my potatoes as a result (thankfully they've ralli...

Re: What are you listening to?
I'm like you Trev I have a pretty eclectic taste in music...I don't have a particular genre I listen to if I like a song I like a song.... but as an idea of what I like: The Foo Fighters (I think because they have some very different music as a group), Queens of the Stone Age for something a bit roc...

Re: Selling second hand items
I have sold things - especially as our children grew out of their clothes. I tend to look at what things are going for that are a similar item. You start to get a feel for what others are selling them for and the quality that is being sold so that if you have something that's in really good conditio...

Re: Metal framed runs - opinions please
Hi Joseyjo - sorry didn't see this...welcome :-D I have a metal run like this that I turned into a chicken tractor - it stands up to all sorts and gets moved every 2 weeks or so. I'm in NZ so we do have predators but not foxes but I'm from the UK originally so know the issues. Personally I would cov...
