Hi Lisa I didnt expect to get any answers to this I do apprieciate it. Thankyou so much for answering. No keep trying differant ones and she eats them for a couple of days then turns her nose up. She drinks from the bird bath if I dont put in clean water. Just wondering if anyone can help. I have had a rescued cat who is !!yrs old, for nearly a year now. She causes me so many problems with feeding. Hi Wendy shame your not in Sussex I have just taken the roofing off my run and is sitting here cant find anyone to take it. I had plastic corrigated roofing on my run and worked very well with netting under it. Marianx

Hi Anne I had fun with scalley leg. You can get sprays for it but the other way is to cover ALL the hens legs with vasilene. Must be all over legs and feet and do all hens and do it at dusk so you can pick them up easily for 7 days, and it will sufficate the mites.

When I got my first girls the breeder I got them from made me a feeder/waterer. The onle way I can explain it was; A wooden box with I seperator in the middle to take two 4 pinter milk bottles laying on the narrowest edge. he cut holes in the bottles at the bottom of the sides so you had the handles...

If I were you id do what I was told on here and put down loads of Sharp Sand. Its easy to poo pick scatter it, with Stalazon which disinfects and dries any poo you miss, rake it over once a week or so and you dont need to change it and its one big dust bath.It works best or did for me.
