Re: Cabbage seedlings keep dying off...???

Thanks for the replies. lt makes sense what you say because although l plant all my seeds up in my greenhouse normally this is done in springtime isn't it when it's not too warm. Mind you - with the weather we've had here this spring and summer April and May were more like summer than summer. l sha...

Re: Honesty plant - help with saving seeds please.

Thanks for all the response peeps. l've snipped some twigs full of dry seed leaves off and left about half on the plant so l'll leave those to blow to wherever and keep the seeds l've collected and place them about in the early spring. l'm really disappointed to learn they are biennial though..does...

Re: Advice on young hens very tiny eggs please

Yes Steve...Heidi has spent the last few days and nights in the original coop and run on her own. l hope it is not infectious between the hens because Heidi was a bit 'off colour' for a few days before the yellowy green poops started. We thought it was just the new coop and run and the change of co...

Re: Advice on young hens very tiny eggs please...and Brachys

The virus is/was Brachyspira Steve. When the first girl Nora Batty went sick we took her to a vet who keeps 30+ ex-batts himself...and he gave her an anti biotic injection and an anti inflammatory injection. He gave us anti-biotics to be given to the other girls orally which we did of course. lt did...

Thanks for the suggestions folk. We've tried B&Q but they say they don't stock it - even though it is on their website :( Phoned them this very day as it happens. l told them to take it off their website if they don't stock it. She said maybe the very big branches do...but l phoned round and co...
