Thank you all. I tried to find the lump yesterday, without success, but will continue to monitor.

Re: Spiky cucumbers

I have a plant in the greenhouse, which could be a cucumber, or something else! Time will tell, but there is unlikely to be any fruit.

Re: My little dog Angel

Angel's lump is not as prominent as it was, so the vet, who could not find it, but I did, examined it again, and we both agreed that it was flatter. I am keeping an eye on it, and hopefully will not have to take her back again.

Not watched this, but the ads for it look interesting. I watch the Drama channel, for classic Eastenders, weekdays. There is also a Drama plus one also.

Re: New Photography Thread.

The Cathedral is an amazing building, isn't it. The only time I have been was when I was in my teens, to try and spot the Imp.

Re: any new hobbies?

Well done LL, I hope your keyboard gives you many happy hours. I had to part with my piano when room was needed for Ted's hospital bed. It was rather a wrench, and I have requested my keyboard back from one of my sons, where it will not have been used. I have all my sheet music and some of my Father...

A dental rant

I had my dental check up today. A few weeks since, I badly broke an eye tooth, and informed the surgery about my current situation (chemo), and the broken tooth, which I hoped would be sorted at the appointment. Getting through to the surgery is a long drawn out procedure in itself. My usual dentist...

Re: Swallows

My kind neighbour arrived on Saturday morning with a bucket, a shovel, an extending window brush, and cleaned the awful mess from my study window )t' )t' It took him around half an hour. He also removed the house martins' nest, which was empty. I see my earlier post was the beginning of June, so the...

Re: Cheapest Petrol Prices in your Area

My son drove me to the pumps at the weekend. I haven't been driving for almost two months, and even then my excursions were local. I read a previous post that petrol shelf life is around six months, had no idea about this. My son informed me that prices are rising.
