What does 'Organic' mean in this context. I would have thought that if it just means plant based they might be just as poisonous to friendly wildlife and pets as that made by chemical processes.

A local farmer used to sell me half a pig that was really tasty. Gloucester Old Spot (or some such) but the local butcher wouldn't buy it because of the black skin. So he cross-bred them and lost the flavour.

I seem to remember sowing wallflowers in June(?) to grow and then flower the next year. They are biennials, though if you leave them they will survive and flower for longer.
