Re: How does your garden grow?

Weeds. Tell me about it. I've been struggling too. A session today on the brambles before the Green Bin is emptied tomorrow. I've dug my potatoes, some have been badly hollowed out by slugs, and I couldn't get the variety I wanted. Picked the last of the Czar early plums (except a few high ones). Go...

The very people who created the problem are those with the most money. They are not going to stop jetting around the world, launching themselves into space, a...

Exactly. What is needed is long term thinking. What we get is headline grabbing.

Re: Extreme weather + Climate Change

The workplace parking levy IS green. Well, it's 'let's pretend to be green'. Just like the bedroom tax was about releasing big houses for people who need them. Neither any good unless there were alternatives in place - home working & public transport, smaller houses. The other pretence was giving co...

Nantwich rehoming

In the local paper . If you’re interested in adopting any of the hens heading to Nantwich on Saturday, July 10, visit the BHWT website or call 01884 860084. Register by July 8th. The article in the paper makes it all sound far too easy - why not have a few hens, they make good pets and give you egg...
