I have just looked at the back of my shampoo bottle, it says 'Apply a generous amount of shampoo to wet hair, massage thoroughly, rinse, and repeat if necessary'. My version is, 'Apply a minute dribble of shampoo to wet hands, rub hands together, apply to wet hair, if not enough foam, repeat, then r...

Coaster crazy

I love riding roller coasters. My last boyfriend was a member of the Roller Coaster Club of Great Britain, we went on the club trips, as well as our own visits to theme parks. We went to the USA with the club and did 17 theme parks in 15 days, crazy. My favourite was Millennium Force at Cedar Point ...

Thank you, I will ring the RSPCA tomorrow, I will feel better knowing that someone with more experience than me will go and take a look. I thought they would have to dispose of the dead birds properly, it's horrible in that plastic bin. It is a young lad who is supposed to look after them, I spoke t...

food glorious food

Hi, I really shouldn't be sitting here browsing, no driving at the moment, so I need to look at alternative ways of making some money. I hate food waste as well, I eat everything I buy, and any free stuff lying around. I have been known to pick over the remnants of my friends meals when they have pu...

spuds

Hi, I might try some spuds this year, but all those fancy names are baffling. When I buy seeds I go by the picture on the packet, my tomatoes are big ones and little ones, my beans are runner or dwarf. Maybe I'll pick it up as I go along.

ideas

Hi, some ideas, sorry if they have been mentioned before. If you get a letter and the stamp hasn't been franked, carefully peel it off and use it again. If you get a reply envelope inside a letter, stick a label over the address and use it for something else. If you are near a library with a newspap...

veg

How can anyone hate veg, I do not understand!!!Try juicing it in a blender, or other machine that mushes stuff up. Try 1 carrot, 1 apple, 8 grapes, 3 sprouts, and a handfull of spinach, it goes a lovely shade of bright green. Raw of course, not cooked.
