Re: New Photography Thread.
A late walk around the village last night. The bonus of a lovely sunset. I love the way the weather and nature can throw up all kinds of opportunities for a good photo. I try to carry a camera with me at all times. https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-GzCpi3PxBt8/YPSPhXZ6m-I/AAAAAAAA2JA/BTECDgc-c4cCr5d2ldm64U...

Welcome back. I think everybody must be on holiday, no one around.

Re: New Photography Thread.
The weather has been very changeable just lately. I went out for a walk when it was sunny, and was caught in a thunderstorm. Thank goodness I was able to stand in a bus shelter. Wonder if my camera will pick up the lashings of stair-rods coming down. Zoom in on the village hall. https://1.bp.blogspo...

Re: New Photography Thread.
Yes I see what you mean. That would be another option. I like the idea of the eyes following the path into the distance. Maybe I should have taken it slightly to the left to include a bit more of the hedge. This is another version looking across the field. The grass gets kind of lost in the clouds. ...

A local walk I did on Sunday. I like the foreground to compliment the background, or the other way round, so I am always looking for two focal points. Camera low down to capture the grasses wafting in the breeze, and the cotton wool clouds on a perfect blue sky. https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-R2kbM6Y1Wu...

Re: New Photography Thread.
I was exploring a derelict mansion last week at Shireoaks near Worksop. It was boarded up, locked doors, and crumbling outbuildings. Sad to see it in such disrepair, but I think there is still beauty to be found in almost everything if you look carefully. https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-rmDskcegMmg/YNcS3...

Re: New Photography Thread.
Nature can provide us with fantastic opportunities to take arty photographs. Even something simple as moss growing on a tree trunk. Open your eyes and you will see.

Did you see the sunrise this morning? Pic taken from my window at 4.15am. I went back to bed for an hour after. :-D https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7A4wA-APJIo/YNA9iMIb9bI/AAAAAAAA1kI/FY7ppa6ApR0w58VtvqpDVVqpYEjGCuqtACLcBGAsYHQ/w400-h300/IMG_0595.JPG I think photography is about being in the right place ...

Thank you Spreck. From a walk on Wednesday. Misson near Bawtry. A hot day, mooching around. I love cows. Love the way the young ones are curious. I like to chat to them. https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-st6EFYaFEQk/YMtAVnOrP5I/AAAAAAAA1jY/ABAjGsioW0Mf3CWHdPJzVQwrT0RR1XD_ACLcBGAsYHQ/w400-h300/IMG_0581.JPG ...

Re: New Photography Thread.
Another one from me, December 2014. Our church is in an ideal location for photography. It's high up overlooking the river, and the sunsets can be pretty spectacular. I get an indication of a good sunset from my bedroom window looking out over the rooftops of the houses opposite. If it looks promisi...

Mo, to use a picture from your blog, right click on it, choose copy link.
Click on picture icon on the top of this box, paste the link in between the two markers. As LL said above.

Re: New Photography Thread.
You are more advanced than me with this photography lark, LL. Nice landscape picture. Our village church. The sun was going down and the floodlights were on. I put the flash on which picked out the branches on the tree. Close up it looks like a painting on canvas. No filters, no enhancement. https:/...

Re: Ilona's handmade makes. New thread
I love your colours Ilona. I have many pieces of cross stitch, patchwork, etc around the house, but as I said in your photography thread, I am unable to photo and download. I am able to put photo's here because they are stored online on my blog. I copy the file code, click on the picture icon above...
