Lockdown chocolate cake.
I was working in the garden at our old house all day yesterday (our daughter and family live there now) so Wendy decided to make a chocolate cake. Still not having any plain or self-raising flour, she used a 50/50 mix of rice flour (not ground rice which is courser) and gram flour (chickpea flour). Amazingly it turned out really light and tasted delicious. Just goes to show how if necessary we can still innovate.
