Nails

Post by p.penn »

My nails are usually rubbish - just weak and break easily, but despite being actually bendy a few weeks back, at the moment I have really strong, decent nails>coc<
I really can't work out why. the only time they usually grow is when I am on holiday. I would put it down to working outside, except a) they don't usually do this, b) they get very wet and soggy, and c) I am outside every day during the winter too as I walk Bailey.>dum<
I am wondering if it is just being a little (very little!) warmer? Does anyone have any ideas as it would be lovely to be able to continue to have nails!

We need vitamin D to absorb the calcium we eat ..that's why our nails grow quicker in summer, we get Vit D from the sun. I read somewhere that children are developing Rickets because of the over use of sun cream.:?
Might also have something to do with eating more icecream when the sun's out.)grin2(
