Our choir is singing at a NT mansion this Christmas. Their Christmas theme this year is Food, Glorious food.
I don't think we'll be singing Oliver - not highbrow enough for our director (he refused a request for Jingle Bells last year).
What would you sing that's Christmassy and foody.
Boars Head carol maybe
What shall we sing
What shall we sing
Dance caller.

Re: What shall we sing
I don't think we'll be singing 'Chestnuts roasting on an open fire' either.
Come on now, there must be others.
Last year the theme was 12 days of Christmas so all the visitors were bombarded with it. Staring with a recorded version blaring out as they bought their tickets, a comedy version from the choir that were alterating with us, and our version (from the Oxford UP* 'white book' 100 carols for choir - the one that every choir uses I think).
*OUP - Oxford University Press, in case anyone wondered if there was a DOWN book

Sorry Mo, cannot think of anything.
