Hi All,
I am trying to buy a light that I can work by but I can't seem to find one that will do. I don't mind if it is floor or desk or clamp mounted but I do want to try out a range of bulbs.
I will be trying to knit, crochet and sew at a table and in front of the telly. I have read reviews on Amazon, etc. They have been useful but so many are either rave reviews or dire warnings, for the same product, which has been confusing.
Do any of you have any suggestions? At the moment I am not bothered by price, I just want to know why you like the lamp and bulb you use so that I can make a good choice.
Thanks :)

Re: Craft lamps
Hmmm...I went down this road a few months back, then got somewhat diverted and didn't bother in the end.
There are a bewildering array of lamps though, so I quite understand why you are asking! Hope you get one that ticks all the boxes for you.

Re: Craft lamps
I believe that blue bulbs are supposed to be excellent for craft work, but they are not easy to find, and expensive. Depends how much you do, but we have standard fluorescent lighting in our klitchen, and I find that fine for working by.
