Due to moving and being unable to take our girls with us, we are looking for a new home for 4 chickens.
2 rescue hens that we have had for 18months, the feathers have never regrown on the back of one; and 2 marbled brown hens. 3 still lay regularly, the other when she fancies.
This is for the chickens only as I want to keep chickens again in a few years once we move again.
We are in Colchester, Essex. I can deliver locally.
Thanks for looking, Clare

Thank you for your lovely girls . All settled in and with the flock . Living in the cockerel a dood1e coop . Stray out as far as the run . Been out in the garden (well past the door three times . ) Have taken the reds for a walk around the garden .
They are the friendliest . One girl is a woo look a like .
The other is a what I call a speckledy .
Feathers are growing back ( must be the mealworm diet ).
You must be missing them . They are missing you and call for you in the evenings.
Thanks again .
they will be looked after (by Champ ) in would appear . Still in the same state as you had them . Will not last long I thinking .

What a lovely update Bob, made me smile. Nellie and Blondie were always the friendlier of the lot, Nellie will climb on your back when cleaning the run, scared the life out of me the first time she did it!
I'm happy they've gone to such a caring keeper and sounds like a fantastic home for them.
Thanks again,
Clare

Hi , If you read a catch up , latest . Nelly has been to vets 29th Dec . She has had her claw between toes stapled (2) . ,both feet I thought had bumble foot but it is not just dirt that has got between toes. She is going back next week . No meds for her just rest in with Champ.
