I hate to admit it

Post by Spreckly »

I hate to admit it, but I have been watching Married at First Sight, Australiayike* yike*
I know, , how low can one get, but actually it is compulsive viewing. The brides are heavily made up, and enhanced, and wearing beautiful clothes, on their stunning figures. Definitely escapism for me!!
Manners and politeness seem to be none existent on the show, the brides and their grooms do not seem suited for marriage one little bit, although there are a few exceptions.
Does anyone else confess to watching it?

Why would anyone do such I thing? (marrying a stranger)
I have vague memories of a storyline in a radio soap (Waggoners Walk??) about someone going on a show and marrying to get some money with the intention of a quick divorce, but he got stuck with her.

I have stopped watching the programme. The arguments, and behaviour was so childish.
