Thanks Manda. Animal food bags are usually made of strong materials and can be fashioned into something else. I made a bag from a large plastic bag of Bakers dog food, added a lining and handles, someone bought it off me for a couple of quid.
This is one I made out of Felix cat food pouches. I still have it as I use it in my frugal/simple living talks. I could probably sell loads of these, if I could be bothered to make them. I like to move on and do different projects, not set up a production line to churn out more of the same.

The cat food bag was what I remembered...I like their use of recycled materials, although I wonder at the price to be honest even though they are going to be more durable than a bag for life I would have thought.
As an aside is it only me that thinks the bag for life idea, whilst it's encouraging people to reuse isn't going to reduce plastic bags waste so much as they don't last that well?.

We see people in town now carrying heavy duty shopping bags, but we have noticed that instead of the usual abandoned plastic bag, which presumably contains food waste and other rubbish, people are slinging their food waste and wrappings onto the grass verges, rather than putting it all into one bag tied up bag.
I remember your catfood bag, Ilona, so colourful.
