Before Christmas I bought honeysuckle and clematis from a firm on Amazon. The first clematis died, but I had the grower's catalogue, and after phoning him, he replaced it. Both plants have shown no signs of life, despite careful watering. I thought I would contact him again and complain, but my bought items do not go as far back as that, and I got rid of the catalogue with the contact details.
Disappointing, these were to have been gifts.

Re: Honeysuckle and clematis plants
I think you should ease up on the watering - they are perhaps in "winter mode" so are unlikely to start growing and won't need watering except to keep the compost damp. If indoors, leave them on a (cool) sunny windowsill and they should stay dormant(ish) until spring.

I have thrown them out. Thanks for info LL.
