Re: no eggs
I'm getting one egg from 7 hens every now and again. Some are moulting, a couple haven't laid an egg for over a year. Hopefully those who do lay will start up again in a few weeks.

Re: no eggs
As a nice surprise my oldest hen, Spotty the bantam brahma, has started laying
again for the first time in about 6 months. She lays huge eggs for her size & the
shells had been getting very thin & giving her problems, I was pleased when she
stopped laying last summer. Now she's the only hen laying & her eggs, though still
quite large are more streamlined than before & the shells are good, so the rest
must have done her good! I leave her egg in the nest as long as possible as an
attempt at encouraging the others - its not working!

Re: no eggs
I had a couple of weeks in December with zero eggs. Then one on Christmas Day and another on boxing day
Now, it seems my 3 youngest chickens have finally started to lay! Even though it's winter, and I thought they would not start til spring. I have 6 chickens, wyandottes, who should lay 4 or so per week. One little girl is moulting, but I've had 11 eggs this past 3 days which is a record for my little flock

Re: no eggs
I've 13 hens, getting 3-5 eggs a day at the moment. Should pick up in the spring.
