Re: Davina's 2013 grow our own diary
Linda, I am easily pleased these days, a few flowers on my plants and I am happy. Much less expensive than when I bought new clothes every weekend
Today's jobs,
I have weeded the PT, it looks very tidy now
I have weeded the fruit cage
I have weeded the veggie patch, I hate weeds
I have planted out my sweetcorn
I have potted on my celeriac seedlings, they are the only things to go out now
I have earthed up my sprout plants as I remembered it helps as they don't like being blown about
So the garden looks good, but the house needs cleaning, I am going to have a and forget about the house work

Hi Bill, no those are not the ones I was speaking off. It is the ones in the garden that are yellow. I have fed them as suggested, so
they will be ok
I too have eaten one lot of radish, the second sowing are coming along nicely, and I am eating lettuce daily I love eating my own produce

I was late last year but that's because of the time spent clearing off the other plot rather than getting this one up and running in time but I still managed to catch up. This year has just been so cold for so long that for a while I seemed to be about 6 weeks behind. Amazing how in the space of a week (and it's not been the tropics here), everything has just shifted gear and got a spurt on
