Hi Davina
You are way ahead of me with your Cucumbers not any flowers even as yet:? .
Hopefully will have a few peas tomorrow, wont be buying potatoes for a while and first Caulies are ready to cut.
Think the bigest problem with growing corn under cover in polenation as they rely on the wind blowing them together hence the setting in a block as aposed to straight lines.
I suspect you spindly Tomatoe is putting more into producing flowers than makeing a sturdy plant ,you may find you will need to support each branch with a cane once toms start to form)t'
Everything looking good what a cabbage would only be able to grow 3 like that in my raised beds.>gl<
A leek in the hand,is worth 2 in the roof.

Wow. It is 107.5 in the poly tunnel, it will need some serious watering tonight)t'
Bill, it is very windy in our garden and the poly tunnel has a door each end with mesh so the wind does blow through, so>fi< I will get some corn. It is obviously much infront growth wise than the outdoor ones

Another way to pollinate the sweetcorn is to take the flowering head when it is ready and dropping pollen, then go around and dab it on to the silks of the cobs. Or perhaps give the plants a gentle shake every time you pass by so that pollen falls down.

I have watered the greenhouse, poly tunnel, pots and small bed with a watering can. The main veg patch and fruit cage will have to be done tonight with the hose pipe.

Those cabbages are stonking Davina and the peas. Ours are suffering in the heat down the allotment. Water butts running low.
Intrigued by the tomoatoes. Saw some black ones advertised the other day 'Black Russians' very Blackadder

I have harvested, sliced, blanched and frozen runner beans, just over 2 pounds)t'
Stewpot, I grew some black toms a couple of years ago, they were actually more of a darkish purple colour really, nice taste though. I love toms and like to see if the different colours and shapes.
I ate the first orange tomato today, very nice, can't wait for more
