I hope so Richard, I am hoping to be harvesting brassicas at least 4 weeks earlier than the ones that will be planted outdoors

Re: Davina's 2014 gardening diary
Back from my holidays, and back to my garden.
Fist early potatoes bags and tubs earthed up. But more to plant, going to put them in the ground.
Carrots and spring onions just starting to show through in the Polly tunnel.
Tomatoes planted into the final position in the poly tunel, and one already has a flower
Strawberries in ploy tunnel also have flowers
I think it may be too warm for the brassicas, they are looking very "leggy" any advice would be appreciated
Lettuce looking good
More planting to be done today.
And finally, an egg in the compost heap

Re: Davina's 2014 gardening diary
Nice weekend, raining now but the garden needs it.
Got second early and main crop spuds in.
Peas and sweet peas planted.
Sweetcorn planted.
Broad beans and cauli hardening off.
Runner beans poking through.
Multi coloured beet root to plant up yet.
Happy with the progress made in my 4 days off work
