Three days ago I sprayed the weeds on my gravel area with Roundup. Because I could not isolate the area, I put clay plantpots over the treated areas, as Angel just loves to root around on this area.
I assume the treated areas have now dried, but can anyone tell me if it would be safe to remove the pots now, please.

Re: Using Roundup with a pet
I would think so after 3 days.
Does it not say on the bottle.

Re: Using Roundup with a pet
glyphosate is the main ingredient of roundup and is usually safe as soon as it dries. When it is on soil, it naturally degrades and becomes "harmless" (I put that in inverted commas because glyphosate is getting a bad reputation for one reason or other - my advice is to wear gloves when handling the solution and watering, and not to breathe any aerosols but once dried it is supposed to be okay. I would advice you don't let your pet to eat anything treated though, whether wet or dry)

Thanks LL.
Wendy - there is nothing on the container about pets. So the plant pots are staying put for the time being.
