To forget how to dig the earth and to tend the soil is to forget ourselves.
Place toasted hazelnuts with one tablespoon of vegetable oil in a blender container and grind on low speed. Continue to blend on low for several minutes, adding another tablespoon of oil if necessary. When butter is reasonably soft, blend on high for 2 to 3 minutes or until right texture is achieved. Slowly add the sugar and salt. Blend on low until thoroughly mixed.
